Patricia Lynn

Patricia Lynn is a philosopher, a lover of wisdom. As a hypnotherapist in Thousand Oaks, CA, she incorporates art therapy into her practice. Patricia is also certified as a Therapeutic Imagery Facilitator and an Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner. (www.TheMindMatters.com) As a child in New England, Patricia’s creative pursuits centered on sewing and fashion design. After a Liberal Arts education at Suffolk University in Boston, Patricia’s artistic career began with her study of photography in 1981 at Moorpark College under the tutelage of John Grzywacz-Gray. An award-winning photographer, she has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Central and Southern California. Her work is in public and private collections throughout the United States. Patricia is also a sculptor, working in clay. Her latest project is “A Body of Work”, a collection of body castings from life. “I create as a means of expressing my thoughts, feelings and ideas. I create as a means of sharing. Art is a powerful and effective form of communication. We all need to communicate. We all need to share our feelings. We all need art.
